Federal Minister for Defence, Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar said that the government was making all out efforts to strengthen the combat potential of its Armed Forces. He expressed these views while talking to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Gen.Tariq Majid NI(M), who paid farewell call on Federal Minister for Defence in Ministry of Defence on Tuesday He remained with the Minister for some time. The Minister lauded the services rendered by the CJCSC for the defence of the motherland during his long career. He also deeply appreciated the professionalism and contribution made by Gen.Tariq Majid for strengthening and enhancing the defence capability of the Armed Forces of the country. Talking to the CJCSC, the Minister said that the government was making all out efforts to strengthen the combat potential of its Armed Forces so as to effectively meet the growing challenges being confronted by the country.
