Supply to Nato remained suspended on 6th day

Supply to Nato via Pak-Afghan Torkham border, remained suspended on 6th consecutive day as container supply oil to Nato have not been given the permission to go to Afghanistan on Tuesday. According to media reports, more than 200 containers supply to Nato via Pak-Afghan Torkham border remained un cleared on 6th day. The supply was suspended after violation of Pakistani air territory by coalition Force, firing by coalition helicopters, which martyred jawans of the security forces. A high level team of Pak Army has been sent to Afghanistan to probe violation of Pak territory while the team is discussing the matter with Nato officials there. On the other side, incident of attacks on Nato oil tankers are increasing day by day. During night between Sunday and Monday Nato oil tankers were attacked in Islamabad. Pakistan declared the Nato attacks a public reaction. On the other side unannounced ban has been imposed on the movement of oil tankers and containers supply oil to Afghanistan while the containers and tankers are parked in different areas of Pakistan. According to BBC, Pakistan has not yet announced the ban but high officials told that ban has been imposed on directives of high officials. The ban has been imposed due to security threats. The officials of All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association said that more than 6000 containers are parked in different areas of the country. Spokesman to All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association Israr Ullah Shanwari said that government did not provide protection to the parked oil tankers while it has become easy target for miscreants.
