QUETTA - Newly appointed Governor Balochistan former Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court (BHC) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Thursday took the oath of his office.

Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Syeda Tahira Safdar administered the oath to the Governor Balochistan at the Governor House.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan, senior judges of BHC, Speaker Balochistan Assembly Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mir Muhammad Umar Khan Jamali, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mubeen Khan, provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary Balochistan, ex-Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Inspector General of Police.

President Arif Alvi had appointed Amanullah Khan Yasinzai as Governor of Balochistan on Wednesday, according to a Cabinet Division notification.
