The media seems rather complacent while reporting that Asif Zardari will be our next president. Are they not even slightly dismayed that the owner of the Surrey Palace, popularly known as Mr. Ten Percent in Pakistan, will be the constitutional face of the country? Our political parties and the lawyers fraternity also seem reconciled to the idea. Is there no limit to the shame and humiliation our people are subjected to? -DR A.
