SC dispossess off 20 cases despite lawyers' boycott

ISLAMABAD - Despite a call for boycotting court proceedings on every Thursday, four benches of Supreme Court of Pakistan disposed off 20 cases yesterday, said a court official. Two Benches of Supreme Court at Principal Seat Islamabad disposed off  nine cases while a couple of Supreme Court at Branch Registry Lahore disposed off 11 cases, the official further claimed. A large number Lawyers appeared before the apex court in pursuit of different cases. The lawyers who appeared before the Supreme Court of Pakistan at Islamabad include Qari Abdul Rashid, Babar Ali, Zameer Shah, Ch.Ghulam Murtaza, Raja M. Ibrahim Satti, Mazhar Iqbal Sindhu, M.Asif, Javaid A.Khan, M.Siddique Mughal, Ch.M.Akram, Mehmood A. Sh. Mian Gul H. Aurangzeb, Wasim Sajjad, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Abdul Rahim Bhatti, Gulzrin Kiyani, Sardar M. Siddique, Ch. Akhtar Ali, Mehr Khan Malik, G.N.Gohar, M.S.Khattak, Arshad Ali Ch, Qazi M. Amin, Niaz Ahmed Rathore, Afshan Ghazanfar, Mian Asif Mumtaz Advocates. Prominent lawyers who appeared before the apex Court in pursuit of different cases at Lahore include Kamal Hussain Naqvi, Muhammad Arif Raja, M.Kazim Khan, Malik Sarfraz Hussain, Rai M. Tufail Khan Kharal, Muhammad Hanif Niazi, S.M.Masood, A.K.Dogar, Muhammad Shahzad Shaukat.
