Vote for Zardari PPP offers ministries to PML-F

KARACHI - The Pakistan People's Party has offered to the Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) that if the latter supports party's presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari, the former would give it provincial ministries in the Sindh government, insiders in PPP revealed to The Nation Thursday. The sources said that dialogues between PPP and PML-F leaders are continued and PPP after winning presidential election would further expand the Sindh Cabinet to take PML-F on board in Sindh. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, who is also close relative of PML- F Chief Pir Pagaro, had visited Kingari House and met with Mr Pagaro to seek support for Asif Ali Zardari in presidential election. After the meeting, both the parties have started dialogue to take PML-F on board in the Sindh government after presidential election, the sources added. In view of dialogue between PPP and PML-F, Pir Pagaro has categorically denied his support to PML-Q presidential candidate Mushahid Hussain. The PML-F has eight members in the Sindh Assembly and more than four members of National Assembly.
