At least 10 people died when a boat carrying mostly Bulgarian tourists sank on Lake Ohrid in southwest Macedonia on Saturday, the government said. The Iliden, was carrying at least 50 passengers when it sank at around 11 am (1500 PST), said a police source who declined to be named. No reason was given for the sinking of the vessel when it was about 200 metres (yards) from the shore, the Macedonian news agency MIA reported.
