LAHORE - The death toll of Karbala Gamay Shah incident has increased to 40 as another man succumbed to wounds at Mayo Hospital here on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Ali Raza, a journalist by profession. Ali Raza was a reporter in a local newspaper and was covering the mourning procession when three suicidal bombers exploded their vests. As a result of which Raza suffered multiple wounds on his neck, belly, legs and arms and was rushed to the Mayo Hospital for medical treatment. Ali Raza died on Saturday despite the hectic efforts of the doctors for saving his life. Earlier, two women including Sonia Bibi, resident of Bhati Gate and Samina, resident of Shahdara Town also died at two different hospitals of the City on Friday. The condition of dozens of other victims was told critical till filing of this report.
