CHARSADDA  - ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan has alleged that the PTI and PAT’s activists have established a state within a state through their undemocratic and unconstitutional acts in Islamabad. “We had never thought that one day politicians will lead workers to enter Parliament by breaking its walls, besides frisking government employees before entering to the Prime Minister Secretariat,” he said this while addressing a consultative meeting of his party at Wali Bagh, Charsadda organised in the context of prevailing political situation in the country. “The ANP stands by constitution, parliament and democracy. It is a good omen that all political parties are on one page at this stage,” he said, adding there is no threat to democracy and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is an elected Prime Minister of the country.

He said that Nawaz Sharif and his government had committed mistakes and that was why today he was in trouble. He said had the FIR of the Model Town incident been lodged this political crisis would not have been happened. Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the country is suffering billions of losses due to the crisis.

Ruling out hand of any third force in the present political crisis, the ANP chief said that rigging also happened in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but for the sake of democracy his party accepted the elections. He came down hard on PTI provincial government and said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak should respect the mandate given to him by the people of this province.  “The PTI should fulfil its promises made with people of the province during election campaign,” he said, adding over 1 million IDPs from North Waziristan Agency have been ignored by both federal and provincial governments which is regrettable.
