Peshawar: At least 57 students have been injured due to a stampede triggered by the 4.5 magnitude earthquake that rocked the region earlier today.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has reported that there have been no deaths or damage to property.

The school was located in Buttagram where students on the third floor, panicked by the earthquake attempted to evacuate the building in a stampede, injuring at least 57 students, 3 out of whom are in critical condition.

The injured students have been shifted to a hospital.
