OKARA - At 99 sensitive polling stations across district Okara, help from the Army and Rangers will be sought, disclosed DCO Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah.

Closed circuit cameras will be installed at these sensitive polling stations, he said presiding over a meeting to finalise the security arrangements for elections 2013. The meeting was also attended by Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Iqbal, DOC Kinza Murtaza, Additional District Collector Zaheer Abbas Malik, EDO (Health) Dr Saeedullah Khan, System Net Work Administrator Hassan Wattoo and other officers.  The DCO directed the Lesco authorities to avoid loadshedding on the polling day. He said all departments should help ensure fair and transparent election.

Kidnappers booked on LHC orders: The Gogera Police in compliance with the Lahore High Court orders, registered the kidnapping case of a married woman. Reportedly, complainant Khursheed Bibi, a resident of 26/GD, filed an application with the Lahore High Court, submitting that the accused including Allah Yar, Nawaz, Iqbal and Allah Ditta kidnapped her married daughter Shahida Bibi.

After hearing the case, the Lahore High Court ordered the Gogera Police to register a case against the accused.
