ECP pencils polls security plan

GUJRANWALA - The Election Commission of Pakistan has devised a security plan for 1,579 polling stations to be set up in the district for general scheduled for May 11.
Reportedly, the security plan for the upcoming elections has been devised for 7 NA and 14 Provincial Assembly constituencies. About 1,579 both male and female polling stations will be established across the district. As per the plan four companies of Punjab Rangers, 2 Army battalions, 16 commandoes squad, 3000 police officials, 700 lady police official and 26 reserve groups to be deployed.
