LAHORE - The Pakistan U-16 boys hockey team registered two victories in the 2nd U-16 Asia Cup Hockey against China and Japan on Friday in Singapore and advanced to the semi-finals of the event. Pakistan team gave a hockey lesson to China with 18-1 thrashing win, posting their second successive victory against the same outfit in the event. Pakistan demolished the opponents with persistent raiding and accurate passing inside the circle and scored goals one after another. M Atiq hammered six goals for Pakistan while Shan Irshad added four, Nohaiz Zahid Malik three and Junaid Kamal, Adeel Latif, Mubashar, Junaid Manzoor and Sikandar Mustafa hit one goal each.  Pakistan team collected a fine 7-4 win over Japan to record their third victory in a row in two-days in the competition. Fixtures: Pakistan vs Sri Lanka at 6am; first semi-final at 3:30pm.
