KARACHI  - A delegation of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA), Sindh led by its president Dr Samrina Hashmi, met with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, Friday.

At the meeting held at the Central Police Office (CPO), the delegation apprised the IGP of the incidents of kidnapping of doctors and threats received on mobile phone.

The IGP assured the delegation that every possible steps would be taken to redress the problems being faced by the doctors.

He also issued the directives that AIG Operations Sindh Naeem Shaikh be appointed as the focal person for redressing the apprehensions of the delegation. The IGP also sought case to case reports registered in the cases of kidnapping for ransom.
