Prof Gondal awarded

LAHORE – Society of Surgeons of Pakistan Central President and College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan Councillor Prof Khalid Masood Gondal has been awarded with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by Punjab Governor Syed Makhdum Ahmad Mahmood.
Gondal has written 60 research papers which published in national and international journals of repute. He has also given more than 30 presentations.
 The HEC has nominated him as central coordinator for research in the field of surgery.
He is also an examiner of fellowship examination within the country and abroad as well. He has also been awarded with honorary fellowships by Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons and College of Physicians & Surgeons of Sri Lanka.
Gondal was the member of CPSP team which supervised the implementation of residency program in the country. He performed a key role in involving postgraduates in the main stream, preparation of curriculum for 62 fellowship programs and the implantation of e-log system.
He also represented Pakistan in USA, UK and Canada. He also rendered his services in signing MoUs with Saudi Council for Health Specialities, Royal College of England and Ireland regarding the postgraduate medical education and training.
