Dialogue with Taliban to leave positive results in country: Yousaf Shah

ISLAMABAD- Coordinator of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) committee Maulana Yousuf Shah said dialogue with the Taliban will leave an overall positive impact in the country.
Talking to journalists, Maulana Yousaf Shah said the government and the Taliban are going in right direction, adding that success in the second phase of dialogue was necessary to bring peace in the country. He also said that they would have to formulate a comprehensive strategy to bring Taliban into national stream, adding that operation cannot overwhelm the menace of terrorism. The TTP announced extension in ceasefire and will respect the pact, he added. The coordinator said he is hopeful of Taliban talks and the results they yield in, adding that the Taliban believe that the direct talk process has exposed the enemies of peace. He further stated that the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-S was a party of masses and believes in welfare of the nation.
