LAHORE - The wedding of late Abbas Sharif’s son, Aziz Abbas,  was solemnised at Raiwind on Saturday night amid strict security arrangements.
A number of local and foreign dignitaries attended the simple but impressive ceremony.
Some Saudi princes also graced the occasion besides a good number of federal and provincial ministers, senior civil and military officers and members of the Sharif family including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
All the roads leading to Raiwind were closed for the general public, as only those having invitation cards for the royal wedding were allowed to go. The residents of farm houses and other adjoining localities were asked to take alternate routes to reach their destinations.
