Islamabad - Capital Development Authority (CDA) continues its drive against illegal constructions and encroachments in the city and during recent anti-encroachment operations, enforcement directorate of the authority demolished many illegal constructions and removed encroachments from different areas of the city and confiscated three truckloads of encroachment material.

Teams of enforcement directorate, during an operation carried out in Noori Bagh, Chahar and other areas of Bari Imam, demolished two newly constructed rooms and four illegally constructed boundary walls on CDA land.

Similarly, one illegally constructed boundary wall in Saidpur Village and one under-construction boundary wall in Sector G-7 were also demolished. The staff of enforcement directorate also carried out a special operation near Quaid-e-Azam University and demolished eight illegally established kiosks from the vicinity. During another operation near Motorway Morr at GT Road, the enforcement directorate removed encroachments and cleared the path for general public. Member Administration & Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed, has directed the enforcement directorate to further accelerate the anti-encroachment drive and ensure effective surveillance and vigilance system for complete elimination of encroachments from the city.

He said that Islamabad is most beautiful city and in order to preserve its beauty the operation against encroachments would continue without any fear or favour.
