ISLAMABAD - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has expressed reservations over the report submitted by a UNDP consultant on Overseas Pakistanis’ voting rights. Talking to newsmen after inauguration of a media centre in the Election Commission on Tuesday, ECP Secretary Baber Yaqub said the commission is making efforts to conduct next general elections in more transparent way. He said there is no room for committing any mistake in the elections. He said the ECP will also use electronic voting machines as an experiment in the upcoming bye-elections and a summary to purchase the machines has also been sent to the Prime Minister.
