KARACHI - Veteran all-rounder Shahid Afridi Tuesday appreciated Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) decision of appointing confident and fervent Sarfraz Ahmed as Twenty20 captain. The former T20 captain in his tweet lauded Sarfraz Ahmed by calling him energetic, passionate and a fighter. Earlier, wicketkeeper Sarfraz Ahmed replaced Shahid Afridi as Pakistan’s Twenty20 captain after the latter resigned following a disastrous World T20 campaign in India recently. Last week, Afridi took to Facebook and Twitter to issue a one-minute video apology to the cricket-mad country but stopped short of announcing his retirement.
