LAHORE - The Lahore High Court yesterday issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of Mustafa Kanju son and others suspects for repeatedly avoiding court appearances.

During the hearing, the prosecution told the bench that the prime suspect, Mustafa Kanju who is son of former state minister Siddique Kanju, had left the country on Oct 30, 2015 and the summons issued by the court were not served on him.

The bench directed the police to produce the suspects on April 20.

The prosecution also challenged the acquittal of the suspect on direction of the Supreme Court in a suo motu case.

On Oct 27, 2015, an anti terrorism court had acquitted Mustafa Kanju and his guards of the charges of killing a 16-year-old boy Zain and injuring another Hasnain in Cavalary Ground area of Lahore Cantonment.
