LAHORE - India's kabaddi team reached here to play a series of six matches against Pakistan counterparts. The team arrived here at the Lahore Railway Station on Samjota Express. The first match of the series will be played on August 7 in Multan, second on August 9 in Chishtian, third on August 10 in Pak Pattan, fourth on August 12 in Faisalabad, fifth on August 14 in Islamabad and the sixth match will be played on August 16. The 23-member Indian Kabaddi will play the friendly matches in different cities of Punjab. The office-bearers of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation accorded warm welcome to the Indians. The players were garlanded and rose petals were showered on them. Indian team captain Pitchatar Singh said that they were happy to be here and believed the series would improve relations between the two neighbours. He said that they have prepared hard for the series and hoped to win it. The camp training for the Pakistan team is in full swing at Faisalabad's Electric Supply Company headquarters ground. Coach Muzaffar Bhatti giving providing training to the camp attendants while Chief Engineer T&G president FESCO sports association Malik Sher is supervising this camp.
