One-way traffic introduced in Daska

OUR STAFF REPORTER DASKA - The City Traffic Police have again realised the importance of one-way traffic system to avert the hours-long traffic jams on the city roads. The police have not assigned the special task of one way traffic system in Daska city during the Holy month of Ramazan to the local female Razakaars. Now, the two lady Razakaars are controlling traffic by performing special duty at Daska Citys congested Fawara Chowk. The local people were very astonished to see the two lady Razakaars performing the traffic duty, even wearing the civil cloths as well. When contacted, one lady Razakaar, Shagufta Khan, said that though that was not an easy job but both they were trying to give the positive and desired results in controlling the traffic in the city. She said that the city police have assigned this special task to them because of the shortage of the city police and even the shortage of traffic police personnel. People misbehave with us with their sluggish aptitude and even do not bother to follow the traffic rules, as the one way traffic system was vital to ensure implementation on traffic rules and regulations and even for the road safety, she added. She added, We also have stopped the Daska based two religious scholars for violation of one way traffic system, but they misbehaved with us and threatened us with dire consequences. Both the lady Razakaars were of the view that though that was women empowerment and confidence of police on them.
