OUR STAFF REPORTER SARGODHA - Hundreds of infuriated people on Friday assaulted the office of the Fesco chief executive officer, Bhalwal and torched it as protest against electricity loadshedding. It is learnt that some villages of tehsil Bhalwal faced loadshedding for three consecutive days. The protesters gathered in front of the Fesco office and staged protest demonstration. Meanwhile, the protestors infuriated and entered the office and after ransacked the office equipment including furniture and record they burnt it. The demonstrators also blocked the traffic. Police reached and registered a case against the protestors. On the other hand, the Wapda employees shut down the power supply in reaction against the attack at their office. The loss of office equipment is estimated about five millions. COP ARRESTED: The higher authorities of police department received a call in which the caller presented him as a terrorist. The caller said that he would explode the police line where the departmental examination of patrolling police held on August 5. 2011. Later after hectic efforts police arrested the caller accused who was the constable of its own department. Accused Zafar Iqbal patrolling police constable confessed that he could not prepare for the examination so he planed to postpone the examination by this way.
