ISLAMABAD  - Member of National Assembly from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has decided to file a case in the Supreme Court against the government for not releasing development funds for his constituency.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader, Fazal Chaudhry accused Chairman Senate, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari of being an obstacle in the way of release of funds for his constituency, NA-49. Fazal Chaudhry told this agency that the government has not allocated any fund for his constituency for the last four and a half years while funds are given, without discrimination, to other MNAs from the opposition.

“It is a common practice that a fund of Rs 10 million is allocated for each constituency but mine is deprived of this annual fund,” he added.

Dr Fazal Chaudhry said the government does not want that the influence of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz grow in Islamabad, which is why it is playing such tactics.

He asked the government for keeping the people of his constituency away from any discrimination so that his area prospers.
