MULTAN – President of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has said that the ruling PPP and its allies are acting upon a one-point agenda to bring harm to the respected Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Addressing a news conference here at his residence on Sunday, he said that a vicious conspiracy was being hatched by some quarters to create rift among the national institutions.

“Entire system of the country relies upon the judiciary but PPP govt has put this institution at stake,” he maintained.

He regretted that other national political parties did not take notice of this serious national issue.

He said that charges were being levelled against the Chief Justice for the sake of accomplishment of personal agenda.

Hashmi said that he respected the leadership of PML-N but the allegations of Kh Asif against Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital were regrettable.

He said that PML-N distorted its image by mud-slinging on a welfare project.

He said that Nawaz Sharif claims that he possessed an eligible team that could steer the country out of crisis.“Isn’t this the same team that couldn’t bear even a single jerk by a dictator?” he posed a question, adding, that all members of this team fled the country and started jobs abroad.

He lashed out at President Asif Ali Zardari and said that Surrey Palace was nothing compared to the corruption committed by Zardari during last four and a half years.

Politicians made Pakistan a source of income and extortion as they piled up their assets abroad after earning or looting wealth from this country, he added.

He said that all those including Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, who possessed assets abroad, must bring their wealth back to Pakistan.

Answering a question, he said that Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa had not contacted him but he had heard what Dost Khosa had stated in his Press conference.

“Shahbaz Sharif must be aware of the fact that Hashmi will never flee the country. My past is evident that I had even faced the dictators,” he added.

He said that there was no democracy within PML-N and whoever raised voice in front of Mian brothers, he was thrown out of party ranks. “But today the situation has changed,” he added.

Answering a question on recent fireworks blast in walled City area, he said that entire City talked about patronage of fireworks traders by political persons.

He said that nobody was above the law and administration should take stern action against those responsible for this tragedy in the City.
