SHEIKHUPURA  - THE ratio of heinous crimes has increased in and around the city due to poor performance of the law enforcers, it is learnt.

Four dacoities took place in city and its adjoining areas on Monday. In first incident, two armed dacoits barged into Zafar Jeweler shop in main bazaar Shahkot. They took away gold ornaments, cash and cellphones worth in hundred and thousands. While in second incident two unidentified highway robbers intercepted a businessman Naveed on Sargodha Road near Khanqah Dogran and deprived of cash and other valuables worth in thousands. The Khanqah Dogran Police have registered a case. Similarly, three vagabonds on a bike intercepted two women in Jinnah Park and snatched their purses pertaining cash and other valuables worth in thousands.

In another incident, three highway robbers intercepted a factory employee Ihsan on Lahore Road. They snatched bike, cash and cellphone from him.

On putting resistance the victim was beaten up by the outlaws who sustained injuries and rushed to nearby hospital. The Housing Colony Police have registered a case.
