LAHORE- Lahore High Court (LHC) has admitted for hearing a petition seeking court’s orders for stopping Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) long march in Islamabad.

The court has sought reply from all the parties concerned today on this count. The petitioner Kamran, a citizen of Faisalabad has taken plea in his petition Imran Khan is going to stage long march in Islamabad on August 14, 2014 on the eve of Independence Day. Staging long march on the occasion of Independence Day is a bid to divide the nation and create anarchy in the country. Court is therefore, requested that orders be issued for sorting out the matters through dialogue and parliament, he prayed.

Justice Khalid Mehmood of LHC while admitting the petition for hearing has summoned reply from federal government, provincial government and home secretary today.
