PM WON’T QUIT: DR KIRMANI

Prime Minister’s Political Secretary Dr Asif Kirmani said that Nawaz Sharif would not resign on the demand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan.

“There is no reason that Nawaz Sharif should resign. Why should he resign when he has been elected as the prime minister with majority by the Parliament,” he posed.

Kirmani said Imran Khan who demanded resignation of the prime minister must know that his party is ruling in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the basis of the same democratic dispensation which made Nawaz Sharif the prime minister of Pakistan.

He asked Imran Khan to tell the people whether his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has ended corruption in Khyber PK in 90 days of the rule. If his party has failed to live up to the commitment, he (Imran Khan) has no right to demand ouster of an elected PM.
