LAHORE  - Human Rights Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday demanded the Punjab chief minister to provide protection to senior journalist, Nadia Batool Bokhari, since she had been facing life threats.

The Islampura police registered a case (FIR No 825/14) against unidentified men for hurling threats at senior journalist and are investigating with no arrest yet.

Earlier, the complainant told the police that she had constantly been receiving threatening phone calls and SMS from unknown men.
