Islamabad: The Rawalpindi education department has started processing a file to recruit special persons in colleges against their fixed quota.

A source told Online that a total of 32 special persons will be recruited against nine clerical positions and 23 against BS-4 as agreed between the Punjab government and the Rawalpindi Deaf Association.

The source said that interviews against the seats will be held on August 7 and August 8 as a formality as, according to him, 23 seats have been allocated to MNAs and MPAs to recommend special persons from their constituencies.

The source said that as many as 150 special persons had applied for the vacant seats.
