The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is going to organise three single country “Made in Pakistan” exhibitions to introduce national products in international markets.

The “MIP” exhibition would be held at United States of America (USA), Nepal and Tajikistan while RCCI President Syed Asad Mushadi would head the delegation of Pakistani traders and industrialists, informed Chamber spokesman here on Wednesday. Sharing the schedule of exhibitions, he informed, MIP exhibition would be held in Houston (USA) from 21 to 24 August while the Pakistani products would be put on display in Nepal from 5 to 10 October and in Tajikistan the MIP exhibition would be organised from 16 to 19 October, 2015.

Talking to The Nation, RCCI President Syed Asad Mashadi said that Chamber was organising exhibitions on international level to introduce the Pakistani products in international markets to increase the export volume. “Thanks to Almighty Allah, the results of holding such exhibitions in foreign countries have always been good and fruitful,” he said adding that this step was also strengthening the economy of country. RCCI President added that Pakistani products were popular across the globe owing to their best quality. “The industrialists should also be needed not to compromise on quality to increase demand of their products in the international markets,” he said.

Single Country Exhibitions Organising Committee Chairman Khurshid Barlas said that the results of such exhibitions have always been positive and the demand of Pakistani products was also high.

He informed that Pakistan would put on display textile, furniture, jewellery, gems stone, electrical appliance including fans, solar panels, interior decoration and IT related stuff in the MIP exhibitions in USA, Nepal and Tajikistan.
