SHEIKHUPURA -A family was deprived of car, cash, jewellery and other valuables while on putting resistance, one Gulfam sustained injuries on Sharqpur Road near Marh Bahangwan.
Gulfam along with other family members was going to Sharqpur from Sheikhupura. Near Marh Bhangwan, four unidentified highway robbers intercepted the family and on gun point looted the vehicle and other valuables. When the family head tried to put resistance the outlaws opened fire injuring him seriously and escaped.
Likewise, three unknown dacoits barged into a cold storage in Kot Abdul Maalik locality. After holding the security guard at gunpoint, the outlaws entered into the office and looted cash over Rs400,000.
Two people were killed in two different road accidents. In first incident, a motorcyclist Amanat died when a speedy car hit his two-wheeler near Khanqah Dogran. Passer-by Riaz died when a speedy car knocked him down near Muridke.
