The knee jerk reaction by Prime Minister Gilani of sending our ISI chief to India after Indian PM's outburst against Pakistan's premier intelligence agency demonstrates the mettle of our politicians. It is common knowledge that many regions in India are up in arms against the rule of Delhi. We demand that our PM should refrain from hurting our national prestige by meekly succumbing to wild accusations by the Indians who actually wish to weaken our intelligence apparatus. We must never lower our guard. Our leadership must show some guts at this difficult time. While we sympathize with India over this outrageous incident, we must refuse to bear bullying by the Indians and should summarily reject such insinuations against our security apparatus. -SALMAN YUNUS, Lahore, via e-mail, November 28.
