PFMA demands increase in wheat quota of mills

PESHAWAR - A meeting of Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) North Zone-II was held here. All executive members of the association attended the meeting. The participants of the meeting said that though sufficient stock of wheat is present in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but quota of the flour mills is very nominal. The meeting decided that a representative delegation of the association will hold meetings with Secretaries Food, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab to discuss the situation and transport sufficient wheat from the province of Punjab.
The meeting also called for increasing wheat quota of the flour mills to prevent flour shortage and wastage of the commodity.
