ISLAMABAD - Senator Maula Baksh Chandio, Minister for Political Affairs, Central Executive Committee member of the party Qai Sultan Mahmood discussed overall political situation prevailing in the country and party’s preparedness for the next general elections with Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The Prime Minister urged Moula Baksh Chandio and Qazi Sultan Mahmood to mobilize the party workers at the grass roots level as the general elections are around the corner.
The Prime Minister said that during its stint in power, the PPP has introduced a number of initiatives for the welfare and well being of the poor and the needy. The Prime Minister further said that the achievements of the government must be highlighted.
“Party workers are the backbone of Pakistan Peoples Party and we value them”, said the Prime Minister who is also the Secretary General of the Party. It is the party workers who have kept the Party in good stead through thick and thin, the Prime Minister added.
The Prime Minister appreciated the commitment and dedication displayed by Mr. Qazi Sultan Mahmood to the Party cause and assured that the party will never forget the sacrifices made by him and other party workers in difficult times.
