Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mahmood visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Friday.
He met with the Naval Chief Muhammad Asif Sandila and discussed professional matters and operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy.
He was also apprised of Pakistan Navy’s role in humanitarian and disaster relief operations; Pakistan Navy’s contributions towards development of the coastal infrastructure along Baluchistan coast was also highlighted.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee expressed confidence in Pakistan Navy’s operational readiness and appreciated its efforts in establishment of Cadet College and 100-bed hospital at Ormara and hoped PN would continue to serve the nation with same zeal besides making effective contributions to overall national security milieu.
He also expressed satisfaction over war games of Navy.
