LAHORE : TUSDEC has joined hands with UET Peshawar through an MoU to facilitate the key industrial sectors in the country in their ambit of sophisticated technology transfer and relevant skill development. The MoU binds both organizations to identify the need to induct contemporary technology and pertinent skills among the strategic industrial sectors. Joint sector studies and researches would be conducted to aid the industry in amplifying its productivity and competitiveness to gain grounds specifically in export markets.  Both organizations will deploy their available resources and coordinate their efforts for technology relevant sectoral mapping.

Various research and assessment initiatives will help in the creation of a knowledge-based economy. The parties will also collaboratively pursue the publication of various research studies in order to facilitate the proliferation of small and medium industrial units. Effective liaison between the industry and academia sets the concrete grounds for sustainable economic growth.
