KARACHI - Pakistan won the bid to stage 2015 International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) 6-Red/World Team Snooker here in Karachi, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) announced on Thursday. PBSA delegate Alamgir Shaikh officially tabled the bid to host the event at the AGM of the IBSF held on Wednesday in Daugavpils, Latvia. “The bid was unanimously accepted by the IBSF Board and an overwhelming response was received from the attending member countries for participation in the championship which will be held in 2015 in men, women and masters categories and around 40 nations are expected to feature in it. The inaugural IBSF World 6-Red and World Team Championships 2013 was recently held in at Carlow (Ireland) which was won by M Asif and M Sajjad.–APP
