64 government, private schools declared security Risk in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Around 64 government and private schools located in Rawalpindi have been declared to be at security risk by law enforcing and intelligence agencies.

According to sources, around 29 educational institutions fall in  A+ category, while 45 schools  in A category among these 64 institutions. . A list was framed and presented before committee headed by DCO Rawalpindi and it was informed that security agencies have declared security of 64 schools as unsatisfactory.

It was decided in the meeting that final notices to be sent to these institutions and if they fail to improve security arrangements as per notices within five days then cases will be registered against the heads and owners of these schools and these schools will be sealed

The list included several schools private and government including FJ school and other educational institutions of Punjab government also.
