SAMBRIAL-As the winter season starts, children are seen in the streets, bus stops, roads and markets carrying buckets of boiled eggs to sell.

Majority of the children is below fourteen years. They belong to underprivileged families and are out to sell eggs to support them. However, the short-term occupation is diverting them towards begging. If the customers refuse to buy eggs, they beg for money by telling them about their poor economic condition.

Hamza is an 8 years old child and student of 4th grade. He sells eggs in the night. He said his father is a jobless. He is addict to pigeon flying and wastes the time.
