KHYBER AGENCY: - Khasadar force on Tuesday foiled a bid to smuggle drug and arrested a suspected drug smuggler along with 24kg of hashish in the Bazaar Zakha Khel area of Landi Kotal. Acting on a tip-off, the force intercepted a vehicle (W-7016) at Zayarai Kandaw checkpoint in Landi Kotal and during its checking seized the drug. Khan Afridi, a Khasadar official, said that the drugs were canceled in the secret cavities of the vehicle. The suspected smuggler has been identified as Jandool s/o Gul Miran, a resident of Bazaar Zakha Khel. The nabbed person has been sent to the Landi Kotal lock up for investigation, the official added.–Staff Reporter
