Every time, I visit hospitals, I see a long queue of poor people outside the hospital hoping if anyone would help them. This happens mostly outside the private hospitals obviously because of the heavy fee. And everybody knows that the state of affairs in government hospitals is rather worse off. Instead of getting recovery from illness, the patients disease gets worst. It is such a bad spectacle to see the miseries of the poor outside the hospitals. It is a request to the authorities, especially the government to have mercy on these poverty stricken souls. The owners of the private hospitals also have a moral responsibility to help these poor people? It is not only the responsibility of the government to provide them all the facilities. The private hospitals must cooperate and keep their fee structure within the range of the common man. ALI EJAZ, February 5.
