LAHORE MNA and a central leader of the PML-N, Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday warned the PPP government it would have to pack up and go if it did not change its working style. Addressing a function, held in connection with the Kashmir Day under the aegis of the PML-Ns Lahore chapter, Saad said: The country should be economically strong, besides getting rid of terrorism, sectarianism, and corruption. Enlisting various steps for the resolution of the Kashmir issue, the MNA bitterly criticised the PPP, especially its top leadership, and General (r) Pervez Musharraf and his regime, for not tackling the problem. The President [Asil Ali Zardari] and the Prime Minister are duty-bound to obey the Parliaments resolutions. But they have not stopped the drone attacks. If the PPP does not change itself, we will throw it out of power, like we did in the case of General [Musharraf]. Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, MNAs Muhammad Pervaiz Malik, and Mian Marghoob Ahmed, MPA Dr Asad Ashraf and others were also present. Saad asserted that the PPP should induct clean people into the Cabinet instead of re-employing the dirty ones again. He also maintained that the N-led provincial government had made it certain that the American (Raymond Davis) should be handcuffed instead of releasing him. Pervaiz Malik was of the view that Kashmir would have got liberated provided the democracy would not have been derailed by Musharraf. Mian Marghoob Ahmed underlined the need for unity among all Pakistanis by correcting themselves, and Kashmir would be automatically liberated.
