APML plans rallies for Mush

ISLAMABAD  - All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) on Wednesday announced a nationwide protest starting from tomorrow to express solidarity with former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, APML General Secretary Dr. Amjad said Pervez Musharraf neither wanted confrontation with the judiciary nor he had expressed no-trust on the incumbent Chief Justice of Pakistan.
He said the APML would take out protest rallies in 10 major cities from tomorrow.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has not been invited to join the protest, he said, adding that it was still under consideration.
He said Musharraf himself had knocked at the doors of judiciary to seek justice.
“Nawaz Sharif can go abroad just for his routine checkup, why can’t Musharraf do the same for his heart problem,” he contended.
