Disabled boy seeks help

LAKKI MARWAT - A physically disabled young man Sadam Hussain has appealed to the government to provide him financial assistance for treatment and acquiring higher education.
Talking to reporters in Serai Gambila on Wednesday, he said that a wrong injection caused disability in his right leg in the childhood. "Since then my poor parents spent huge money on my treatment at local level," he told.
Hussain, who belongs to remote Haramatala (Azadkhel) village, said that despite financial constraints of his family he managed to do matriculation from the village high school.
"It is my long desire to stand and walk on my own feet without the help of walking sticks and continue my education," he maintained.
He said that his father Mushk Alam worked as a tenant and his poor family was unable to bear expenses of his treatment and education. He demanded of the government and philanthropists to help him make his dreams true.
