PESHAWAR - Unknown persons blew up main gate of the ICMS School and College with explosive device in Hayatabad area of Peshawar on late night Wednesday.
Police said that incident occurred in Phase-V area of Hayatabad when unknown persons planted a time explosive device near the main gate of the ICMS School and College. The device exploded with a big bang, destroying the front portion of school. The blast caused fear and panic in the area.
Soon after the incident Hayatabad police and bomb disposal squad personnel reached the site and cordoned off the area.
As per the bomb disposal squad, the device was weighted about two kilogram.
Talking to media persons SSP Operation Mian Ahmad Saeed said that the incident occurred due to negligence of the administration and the tips provided for security were not followed.
