Kashmir Solidarity Day marked in Gilgit

ISLAMABAD   -  Kashmir Solidarity Day was observed across Gilgit Baltistan yesterday to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashimri people.
In the whole region different events were organized by the administration and different organizations in which people from different walks of life participated to express solidarity.
In Gilgit, the main rally was led Senior Minister of GB government Col (retd) Ubaidullah Baig which started from Old Shahi Polo Ground and culminated at Ittehad Chowk.
On the occasion, the senior minister urged the international community and human rights organizations to take notice of the human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashimri.
He further added that the Muslim Ummah and human rights organizations should play their role in stopping the bloodshed in occupied Kashmir at the hands of Indian forces.
Another rally was organized by Yamiat Islami which was led by Amir Jamiat Islami Gilgit Baltistan Molana Abdul Sami.
On the occasion, Maulana Abdul Sami strongly condemned the Indian atrocities on innocent Kashmiris who are struggling for their right to self-determination.
The rallies were also organized in Chillas, Ghizer, Astor, Hunza-Nagir and Baltistan region to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
