ISLAMABAD How can the Presidency realise what does electricity loadshedding means when it is immune to power outage for even an iota of second, as only the wearer knows where the show pinches. While Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani advises his Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Asharaf not to give deadlines for ending the electricity loadshedding, the masses have yet to hear a word from Presidency over the ever-prolonging crisis in the country. According to sources in the Presidency, relevant authorities were not allowed to switch off electric supply to the Aiwan-i-Sadr for even a second. This immunity was not only for Presidents residence and workplace but also for the entire residential colony of the Presidency. The President, the sources claimed, had offered to include the Presidency into the loadshedding schedule but the security advisors had termed it as a security risk. Therefore, the Presidency has not been subjected to any loadshedding while the masses are faced with power outage for six to 12 hours every day even in the winter season.
