Police take three months to book ‘rapists’


KOT ADDU - On court orders, the police have registered a case against four gang rape accused after three months of the incident.
Huseena married Zahid Husain over two years ago and was divorced after six months. Huseena was asleep at her house when her former husband along with his armed accomplices - Tahir Tanveer, Tahir Saleem, Anwar Bhatti and one unknown person - barged into the house and allegedly gang raped her.
The police have registered a case on the orders of Additional District and Sessions Judge Allah Bakhsh Dhanla after after three months of the incident.
Raiding cops attacked, weapons snatched: Alleged bootleggers attacked a police party and snatched their weapons during a raid here.
On a tip off, the police party led by a sub-inspector conducted a raid on the house of Tariq Maseh, Shahid Maseh in search of liquor but the accused attacked the cops along with their accomplices namely Ihtisham, Khuram, Sehat, Khalid, Waeem, Gul Muhammad and 15 others unknown persons outside the house.
As they attacked the police party uniform of SI Fida Bukhari was torn apart and brought arms from their houses. So the police returned back and Kot Addu police have registered a case against them under section 324-353-186-149-148.
GROWER SHOT AT: A person got angry and opened fire at a cultivator when the latter prohibited him from damaging his crops.
The herd of Akber Khan, a resident of Zoob, was grazing at the fields Ismaeel Baloch. When the victim stopped him from doing so, he opened fire at him. The cultivator ran away and narrowly escaped the bullet. The police have arrested the accused in Chakar Dari.
